# Documentos que necesita el cliente
El proceso de verificación se completa dentro de la aplicación Punto Pago y requiere información básica de identidad. Este paso es necesario para cumplir con las normativas financieras y permitir el acceso a servicios de crédito.
La verificación de identidad se realiza solo una vez: puede efectuarse antes de la compra con **Cuotas** o directamente en la tienda durante la primera compra.

### Lista de documentos
Normalmente, el cliente necesita:
* Una identificación válida emitida por el gobierno (Cédula o Pasaporte)
* Un número de teléfono móvil registrado en Punto Pago
* Una verificación por selfie (prueba de identidad)
La verificación se completa de forma digital en la aplicación y normalmente tarda solo unos minutos.

La verificación de identidad se realiza solo una vez.
Después de que la cuenta de un cliente esté verificada, puede usar **Cuotas** y otros servicios financieros disponibles en el ecosistema de Punto Pago sin repetir el proceso.
